How it began
A photographer changed by fatherhood
I started behind the camera photographing proposals and weddings — chasing love stories on other people's most important days. It was meaningful work, but it came at a cost: nights away, weekends gone, and a growing feeling that I was missing something closer to home.
When my daughter was born, everything shifted. I wanted to be present — truly present — for every fleeting detail of her early life. The way she curled her fingers. The look on my wife's face. The quiet, unrepeatable moments that disappear before you can hold onto them.
That experience showed me what really matters. I stepped away from weddings and turned my lens toward families — because I know firsthand how fast it all goes, and how much it means to have it preserved.

Ron brings an editorial eye and a deeply personal understanding of family life to every session. Having photographed proposals and weddings before becoming a father himself, he knows how to find the real moment inside the posed one — and how to make families feel at ease enough to let it happen. Based in Connecticut, he works with a small number of families each year so that every client gets his full attention.

The studio is calm and open, designed for families to move freely — stocked with wraps and props for newborns, and filled with the soft natural light that makes every portrait glow.
